Error loading NvQTwk
I run XP and when I start-up my PC I get this Error message:
RUNDLL Error loading NvQTwk The specified module could not be found I found out that this has something to do with Nvidea drivers but I have a ATI 9600se and I Installed ATI Cat. 5.3 drivers, and when I go to control panel > add reove programs and click on ATI display drivers these are the #s of what is intalled: Display Drivers for Radeon 9600 series secondary- 6.14.10.617 Display Drivers for Radeon 9600 series primary- 6.14.10.617 This is the ATI Catalyst 5.3 Windows XP Drivers that I just downloaded today Does anyone know how to get rid of this error? Thanks in advance. |

Did you ever have have an nvidia card in your computer and there might still be drivers installed for it ?

There is a program called drivercleaner. But usually you deinstall all driver - then use the program to delete all "leftovers" and then install the drivers for your new card. I am not sure if using the cleaner might interfere with the drivers installed for your current card.
Of course you could deinstall those aswell - boot in safe mode, use drivercleaner to get rid of all display drivers and then reinstall the correct drivers for your current card.
