gforce4 MX 440 big problem
Please help me out, my life is at stake here. I work for a company, names needent be asked, when one day i was asked to do some printing. The thing i was printing did not come out correctly so the advice screen advised to change the resolution on my monitor to 640 X 480 from 800 X 600, now being the silly dope i was i did just that, after clicking accept, the screen lost some of its clarity and the icons got bigger naturally. also the screen started to flicker slightly, printing off was fine then i went back to change the monitor back to 800 X 600 the screen went inverted, very inverted. Also i could not change the refresh rate from 60hz to 85 hz to stop the flickering as there was no accept button below it and any changes i would make would not work. In desperation i clicked on the card i had and there was all these options on how to change the monitor settings but afraid of my hands of death i left it for now. Any advise? to stop the flickering and revert the screen back to its glory
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE |

what you could do is open the display properties, either right click on a free space on the desktop or go into CP and select from there
now choose settings. you should see a movable arrow thing on a slider bar. move that over to 800 pixels X 600 pixels hit enter even if the OK button does not show on the screen it is still highlighted by default. go ahead and change the refresh rate if the screen still flickers now. |
