Grin what amount of graphics card can i put?

hey guys i think this is the appropriate section so i was planning to upgrade my
graphics card frm nvidia 7200 gs 256 mb to nvidia 9800 gs 1gb if possible or to 512 mb
and i am also increasing my ram frm 1gb to 3gb

Shouldn't be a problem. Posting the Model number of the Compaq would be helpful.
You should also upgrade the PSU if you are using the one that came with the PC. OEM PSU's satisfactory to power the original configuration so they need to be upgraded to supply sufficient power for hardware upgrades.
