NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT glitched graphics
Hello everyone, I just recently assembled a new desktop pc.
I already had the NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT video card, it was working fine on another pc. Now, the video card doesn't seem to go that bad, but with graphical programs i often get missing lines and my pc freezes for a while, or actually, the mouse's cursor moves, but that's all. With games (both MMO and regular ones, which should run pretty good on my hardware) it's horrible : the graphics often gets really really glitched, sometimes some graphics parts are missing, sometimes i get black/white "squares". My drivers seem to be the last ones available, I'm using Windows xp professional x64, and my hardware definitely is good enough not to have these kind of errors, i will post all my hardware if needed. Anything i can do about it? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Also to note, it oddly seems to go well if a friend of mine uses TeamViewer and connects to my pc, i have no idea why that could be. Post the specs of the system including PSU brand and wattage.
Post the temps and voltages from the BIOS.

Re: NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT glitched graphics
First of all, thank you and sorry, I really know nothing..
Anyways, logged a file with GPU-Z, the GPU's temp is usually about 45 ° C, gets as high as 56° C when playing. If you need it, the GPU Core Clock is 550 Mhz and the Memory Clock is 400 Mhz, while the Fan speed is always at 40 %. |

Re: NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT glitched graphics
Okay, i tried running 2 stability tests, both seemed to have gone fine. (nBench and Video Card Stability Test).
I had a few missing lines once in a while, but again, that was something like a line every 5 mins or so. Still, i have no idea why it doesn't work with games, not even on really really low graph settings. |
