Re: 3dMark 06
I just recently "filed" a whack of notes with many '06 runs included. Have to look and see if I put them anywhere that I can find them again. Have an idea, but not at home right now. Off hand it sounds lowish, but I'll take a fast look when I get home in the morning.

Re: 3dMark 06
Mostly your videocard score should have been. 3d mark isn't a very good program to measure pc speed. I believe you can easily manipulate the score by running it at lower settings. For example , if i ran it at 640x480 I might actually get 16,000 as well.
Try rerunning it at 1280x1024 , thats what I had it at. I have the demo version , so it automatically chooses that res for me.

Re: 3dMark 06
Your computer specs should play anything well. Plenty of cpu and graphics power, no worries there. Like anything else, you try and play something at a ridiculously high resolution on a huge monitor, then it won't perform quite as good. I use 1680x1050 on a 22" monitor, don't know of any game out there that I couldn't run decently.

Re: 3dMark 06
Was a bit of a pain to install, the instructions didn't mention that the gpu frame had to be removed too. Works great though, I run folding@home on it, 100% gpu usage and it stays in the 50's Celcius. With the stock cooler, I had the fan running at 90% just to keep it under 80C. and that was way too loud for me. The Accelero is nice and quiet, even with the fan on 100% all the time.

Re: 3dMark 06
I got mine at www.ncix.com but they don't list it anymore. Will take a look around, see if I can find a link. Checking a review site right now, some of them have store links in them.
