Problem when playing games
I have a GeForce 8800 GT, when I play games my graphics will suddenly go haywire almost without warning, sometimes the colours will go haywire and today in the likes of WoW my screen seems to be a heavy amount of what looks like static on a television set. The problem is persistant so I was hoping to get to the bottom of the issue, could it possibly be the card over heating?
My CPU temp. usually runs at around 30-35 Degrees Celcius, I have an image of what my screen looks like currently on World of Warcraft, very strange.

Re: Problem when playing games
That's called artifacting and can have one of three causes:
1.) Dying graphics card VRAM 2.) Overheating graphics card 3.) Power supply not delivering enough power to the graphics card So we need to know your full specs: Motherboard CPU RAM Graphics card Power supply (brand and model) Also, download GPU-Z and use it to monitor your graphics card temperature while playing games. Remember to check the box that says "continue to refresh this screen while GPU-Z is in the background"--it's on the sensor page.

Re: Problem when playing games
Open the case and look at the label on the PSU.
Need to know the brand and wattage. Post the temps and voltage from the BIOS.
