I have a Dell Studio Desktop and an NVidia GeForce 9500GT Verto.
The Dell originally came with an ATI graphics card. I removed it and all its registry files, so theres no trace of it. The problem is that the computer isnt finding the graphics card. It works fine from the ATI. But when the 9500GT is in the PCI slot, and I plug in my monitor, nothing happens. The computer boots but the monitor doesnt. I thought it might be a faulty graphics card so I tried it in my eMachines and it works fine! Any help/Ideas would be awesome... Im going crazy here! |

Re: Dell Studio + PNY Nvidia Geforce 9500GT = HELP!
Probably the Dell isn't up to powering the 9500GT. Could you read the brand and model off the side of the power supply unit? It's the boxy component located where the power cord comes in.
