Hi everyone,
I'm rather frustrated right now! Just bought my new Corsair 750TX power supply, i plug it in (correctly) to my computer which was working fine and now.... My graphics card isnt picked up by my monitor. The computer is running and the graphics card is on. Does anyone know what can be causing this? Thanks for the help. My graphics card is a Force3d ATI HD4870 2 Gig ram 4400+ Duo Core 250 gig, 500 gig hard drive. Any ideas? |

Nope, it doesn't pick up signal at all! No video signal, nada.. And it was working couple days back.
I suppose the Aux power is that Square 2x2 pin?.. Near the processor? If that then yeah its in. I even tried the onboard, it's sending no signal whatsoever? Don't know if when i plugged out my graphics card before i took out the power supply if it switched from pci express into something else? Not to sure. Update: Plugged a brand new HD4890 into my system, same thing. Plugged it out, put the video cable in the onboard. Again, no signal. But the secong i pull it out my screen immediately says, please check video cable? Same thing with the 4870... Hmmm?? I will never understand computers. I pushed my cpu fans in as hard as i could in, tried pushing other things as deep as they could go.. And viola, my screen receives video singal???? Anyways its working now. Someone else on the website had this same prob and push everything deeper so i thought i would try. Worked for him and me too. Hectic! Last edited by dai; 11-04-2009 at 04:17 AM. |
