Ati radeon hd2600xt problem

Hello,I have some problems with my video card.Some strange dots are appearing on my screen and sometimes screen restarts and I get a note:VPU Recover system restarted you graphic accelerator...any ideas!?

If it's artifacting then it can be either a heat or power problem , post the sards temps under load and your power supply make and model.

Hmm , yea that's not a good power supply at all. The card is most likely being underpowered. It really needs s decent 400w+ with 26 amps on the 12v rail and an 80+ certification.

In terms of performance it's similar to a x1950 , but the x1950 actually uses more power.

Then the card may have corrupt memory modules.

Can you still RMA it? Is it covered by warranty?

HUGE EDIT: What brand did you buy? Post model number of new PSU. Could have bought a useless one again.

I cannot find a single specification breakdown or review...even in german.
Nothing. Some personal comments about how good it is for gaming or something..but nothing about its quality.
