Re: Color glitch w/ GTX 260

A PSU usually gives out high 12v ratings at first, they usually level off after a couple weeks of usage.

The latest driver for the GTX 260 is this one.
195.39 beta

Re: Color glitch w/ GTX 260

Under load my CPU hits 80 C. Idle is 45 C.
And is it wise to use a beta driver? I don't quite know if I trust that.

Re: Color glitch w/ GTX 260

As it turns out, it was too late for the CPU. I applied the paste, ran it for a day and turned it off. It no longer runs. *tear* In any case, I guess the root of the problem was the CPU all along (I hope). Oh, and now the colors don't glitch, entire thing freezes and the sounds glitch until I turn it off.....so I'm getting a new one. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Color glitch w/ GTX 260

You sure? I burned the CPU, that's supposed to void the warranty. I had a guru friend of mine check it, he wasn't sure about the warranty, but it's definitely burned.

Re: Color glitch w/ GTX 260

Ah, coming back feels like crap. I'm still having all the same problems, and I have ensured that the driver is as updated as it could possibly be. I don't know what to do anymore...:(
