Computer wont turn on
basically the problem is i can press the on button twice, flip the power switch at the back and see a quick flash from the computer lights but other than that my computer is a paperweight
ok so i decided to swap my hard drive last night, put it back up, but didn't pay attention to a cable that got in the way of my graphics card's heat sink. i turn it on, started formatting for windows when i look back my computer is off and i can smell burning plastic. so i assumed its the hard drive swaped them back around and ran it again. all was normal until it shut down again and that was the last time i got it to run. woke up in the morning and saw that there was a cable in the way, but now nothing works, if i try turn it on then i flip the switch at the back i can see the light flick on and the fan barley turn but thats about all i can do with it. what to do please help me. yes, i know it was definatley the graphics card but why wont my computer power up! even if i unplugged the graphics card it still dose nothing! |
