Graphic malfunctions and lockup
Hello my computer spec is
Intel® Core™2 QUAD Q8200/2.33Ghz/1333Mhz G41RQ-RAISIM SITY-1600MHZ WinFast FX-9500GT 1024MB DDR2/HDMI and i am using WinXP Basicly my problem is that every 2-30 minutes (and after i had them replace the GPU and motherboard it was ok for 4 days) my graphics either become very strange (stuff appear where they shouldnt be like an engine on the wall, numbers appearing randomly) or the screen turns completely blank and locks up the computer. i tried reinstalling the drivers, updating to latest drivers, downgrading to the ones that came with the WinFast CD, had the motherboard and GPU replaced twice, did a memory test and this problem still happens... if i open several games at once the error seems to occur faster when i inserted a different gpu (radeon 4350) the problem didnt occur here is a picture of the 'strange graphics' ![]() i assume not everyone plays wow (note this isnt a wow only problem happends on every steam game and Fallout3 for example) so in case it isnt clear at the bottom left that is supposed to be text, snow flakes and faces arent ment to be on the walls and the floor is actually tiled and not strange black things:P just some of the things that arent there |

Re: Graphic malfunctions and lockup
Since the 4350 solves the problem I would say the 9500GT is defective or you don't have sufficient stable power. Brand & Model of the power supply?
