upgrade pent 4 card

I got an old pent 4 for my kid to play on. it has a ASUS P4G533-LA mother board and a Intel 82845G/GL/GE/GV Graphics adapter. I didn't know anything about PCI PCI-e till I read your forum. My pc will play the games , it has a Radeon X1300 pro. The old pent wont play them. Can you still get that radeon card and will it install on the pent 4 without changing the motherboard?

That specific board only has standard pci slots. Pci cards are available , but they cost more then agp or pci-e cards and are much less powerful.

Whats games are you attempting to play with this machine?

She wants to play Barnyard , Hunting Unlimited 4 ,Fear, Cabelas big game hunter mostly older games

In that case you could just get the x1300 in a standard pci version if your satisfied with it's performance.
