nvidia drivers causing BSOD on startup
Hi
I am about to lose it here and anyone who can throw some light (before I throw the laptop), on the problem would be gratefully appreciated. I have just reinstalled vista home premium on a Vaio VGN AR31S after a hard drive failure and just about everything has gone ok. However, every time I install the Nvidia GE force Go 7600GT drivers, (from whatever source, sony site, nvidia site, various other suggestions on other sites), I get the BSOD on startup and have to go in using safe mode and remove them in order to startup again and then the machine goes back to the standard driver. I have done a driver clean several times as well. Please, please, please, any suggestions? Many thanks |
