Will this card work in my PC?
Hey guys
I ran the system info for windows program to find out what kind of PCI slots I have on my motherboard and it turns out i have a PCIEX16 slot. Under the data bust width it reads: "32x or x32" Does this mean that any video card that has a memory interface that is some multiple of 32 will be compatible with my mobo? (64, 128) Because I'm looking to do quick cheap upgrade to my computer and order this card when it becomes available http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143115 and I was wondering if it would be compatible. Furthermore, any other, cheap card suggestions would be appreciated. (at least 512mb of memory) Thanks (:

Re: Will this card work in my PC?
The card will work with the motherboard but the power supply the system has won't be enough to run it for long , you'll want something like this powering it.

Re: Will this card work in my PC?
If you buy a home office Dell and want to add a graphics card, it's pretty much a given that you'll need a new power supply. The ones supplied are just enough to run the system; Dell builds them as cheap as possible.
Before buying a new PSU, read this: Power Supply Information and Selection

Re: Will this card work in my PC?
My main concern was with the data bus width in my OP.
Mind addressing that? :\

Re: Will this card work in my PC?
What data bus width are you talking about? Can you take a screenshot of the system and graphics information tabs in CPU-Z?
