Video card error

Im not sure but i think my video card is fried but i just bought a new power supply (680w) and when i plug my nvidia 7800gt in and the plug my power supply into my graphics card it wont power my pc but when i unplug my graphics card from my power supply everything works fine.

Is this caused by a short in my graphics card or wat?

Re: Video card error

Does the 7800 function in another machine? Is the onboard disabled and pci-e slot enabled?
