Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (question)

Hi I am using a compaq cq60 104tu laptop which doesnt come with and inbuild OS and uses a intel 4x chipset graphic card.
I dont actually know what the graphic memory is and when i run dxdiag to check it displays it as 797MB which I dont think is right.
I would like to know why dxdiag is displaying wrong info when i run it on windows7. I never ran the dxdiag on ny other OS since windows7 was the only thing i ran on this laptop.
And i would like to know a way by which i can check the proper graphic memory.
Hope someone can help me out with this

Re: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (question)

The report is correct
Quote:
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB
Shared Memory: 733 MB
The 64 Megabyte is dedicated to the video chip and the 733 MB is shared from the 2Gig system ram.
