strange vcard(7300)
Hi,heres my story.
So i got this geforce 7300 LE,and knowing that it's a crap tried to run some old games and was suprised,it lags when there are some intense movement all over the screen like fire/dust even on WoW but it runs very smoothly if you get away from them. In dxdiag it shows that it has 512 RAM(check attachments).So how come its so bad even in crappy games,it doesn't feel much better then 5200FX i had previously .Is it supposed to be like this or im doing something wrong.I heard there are some video cards which high RAM's are just a trick.they instead uses pc resources instead or smth like that Thank you for the answers |

Sounds to me like a fill-rate issue, which is due to low processing power on the video card.

The LE models are the lowest end available. The ram doesn't really matter if the gpu doesn't have enough power to back it up. I had a 6200 le and it was the worst card I've ever bought due to me thinking the ram was a good amount. So basically yes That is a bloated amount of ram for a 7300 le.
