Which system would be best for video capture/editing, etc.
Which one will run video capture/editing better, generally speaking:
Dell Dimension 8400 3.4ghz P4 550 w/ 1024 secondary mem cache, 128 MB Radeon X300 SE PCI-E Video, 2 GB PC2-4200 Dell Vostro 400 Processor, Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E4500 (2M Cache, 2.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2GB PC2-6400 128 MB GeForce 8300 GS |

I wouldn't use either one.

The Vostro is a better unit but I doubt that either would be suitable for serious video capture/editing.

Re: Which system would be best for video capture/editing, etc.
The Dimension is just obsolete garbage, and the Vostro, while a big step up, is still too weak if you plan to do serious video editing.
