Blue screen on certain games
I recently installed an Ati Radeon HD 4770 512MB card, and I'm getting blue screens now.
Certain games that I launch will detect that I have a new graphics card, and try to auto-adjust the in-game graphical settings based on the cards capabilities. Whenever an application attempts this, I get a blue screen for a split second, and then my computer crashes. Games that don't auto-adjust work fine. Anyone know what could be causing this? My older ati card didn't have any problems. PC=Insipiron 530, 3gb ram, Intel 2.5 ghz dual, Windows 7 ultimate. |

Are you using the stock dell 300w the system came with? That alone could easily cause the bluescreens.
Also , try a different os , windows 7 is not yet released and all drivers for the os are in there early stages or even beta.
