ATI RADEON HD 3450 & GEFORCE 6100 NFORCE 430 - None Repsonsive

i have a HP s3431.uk and for some reason the factory setting is that the onboard GEFORCE 6100 NFORCE 430 is disabled so only the ATI RADEON HD 3450 is useable which is a PCI. My problem is this. I want to get dual screen and have managed to get the onboard GEFORCE working, however now the ATI says the driver isnt compatable. All i want to do is extend my destop to another screen and whilst i have 2 graphics outputs it should pick them both up, but for some reason the device manager Code:43 so it disables it so it doesnt even acknowledge its existence. Help please. im at confused.com here :s

You are not suppose to run nvidia and ati cards on the same system , let alone at the same time. It's mention in the first paragraph in the very first sticky in the videocard section. The two companies drivers are not compatible with each other and conflict causing various errors. I'm surprised the 3450 works alone with the 6100 disabled.
