Dual monitor problem

I have a Dell Optiplex 755. I have installed an NVIDIA GFORCE 9400 GT, dual DVI video card. I have two Dell 1908 monitors. I cannot get the second monitor to show up in the Nvidia software and Windows does not see it. I have tested the monitor on another computer and it works. I have un-installed and re-installed the software twice. I have tried different DVI cables and reseated the video card. I have installed this video card into two other Dell Optiplex 755's and they work fine. I even tried another new video card and get the same results. My OS is XP Pro. The only thing I did different was log in as admin instead of the user.

Re: Dual monitor problem

I fixed the problem and for others that may encounter such an issue. I un-installed the monitor and re-installed and that took care of the problem.
