Upgrade to ATI 4890 XXX Edition

Hi,

This is my first time here, and i have a little question to ask. I have a PC with the following spec:

-Intel Quad Core 9550 Processor
-8GBs of ram
-Arctic Power 700W PSU - With PCI-E, 4x SATA, 20+4, ATX12V, 8pin +12V
-ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series Motherboard

I am thinking of upgrade the graphic card to ATI HD 4890, but not sure the system/ PSU could handle such device?

Many thanks!

What video card are you currently using? The power supply isn't good enough considering it's a bad brand and doesn't have decent efficiency or amps either. Other then that the rest looks ok.

Provided you use a decent power supply with good efficiency and enough wattage and amperage , and use driver cleaner to remove the nvidia drivers it should be ok.
