XFX 9400gt

HI my computer is a
core 2 duo 2.2ghz
1gb ddr2 ram
with resolution 1440 x 900
my friend suggest me to buy a XFX 9400gt graphic card(which he is using)
i am going to use it mainly for gaming
will it be good for my computer??
please suggest me a graphic card at a price range of INR 3000-3500

I would suggest a better brand. EVGA, Asus & Gigabyte are good ones with good support.
