No. You need a minimum 650w power supply with at least 34A on the +12V rail, from a quality brand like Corsair or Seasonic, to use a 4870.

Minimum Quality 650w for the card to perform correctly.
If not you might as well just buy the 9400GT.

No, that's a 380w. You need ~650w or more. You should be looking at units like this:

Then you can't use the 4870. You might get an ultra-cheapo 650w power supply, but that's like playing with lit dynamite. You could theoretically use a 550w PSU, but I wouldn't recommend it, and it would still only lower the minimum cost to ~$80.

Hey guys i just got good money......... sorry was desperate to get my 4870 running!
Well my budget for a new PSU now is $120 below... i need the best PSU out there than cost that much or less.

Ive been searching around and im left with two choices of PSUs

CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V 2.2

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V

And yes i have decided to stay with 4870 but i have options, any help??? :
