PCI X Video Problem

New build pci express wont work

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just built a new system and I cant get the PCI EXPRESS card to work and I have tryed two cards, no luck the monitor doesn't come on.

Ok here my specs on the PC:

Computer Case
Black AZZA Solano 1000 ATX Full Tower Computer Case CSAZ-1000, 10x 5.25in Bays, Bottom-mounted Power Supply
Ultra-efficiency Cooling System:
1 x 230mm Blue LED top fan (exhaust)
1 x 230mm Blue LED side fan (intake)
2x 140mm Blue LED front fan (intake), providing exceptional air flow to cool the HDD
1 x 120mm Blue LED rear fan (exhaust)

Power Supply
Chiefmax 16-18db (A) EN60950
650Watt Dual Core / Quad Core Certified Power Supply

Mother Board
ECS GEFORCE 7050M-M PHENOM QUAD CORE Mother Board
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7550 2.5GHz

Processor
ECS 7050M-M AMD DUAL CORE X2 7550 Processor

Processor Fan
ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER FAN FOR AMD CPU

Ram Memory-DDR2 800
4GB DDR2 PC2 6400 800MHZ KIT 2x2GB CHIPS
Upgradeable to 16 GB.

I'm trying to install a PCI EXPRESS CARD: NVIDIA FX 8600GT

OS: MICROSOFT VISTA ULTIMATE 64BIT

Ok here what Ive tryed doing:

1. Disabled and or uninstastalled onboard
2. Installed Drivers
3. Reset CMOS
4. Changed BIO setting to PCI EXPRESS
5. Installed PCI EXPRESS Drivers

Whats left to try?
The monitor doesn't come on and if I using onboard & put in the PCI EXPRESS card plug and play doesn't find it. and theres no power to be plugged in from the Video card and I tryed two different cards that both work previously, and when plugged in the fan works on the video card.

I'm Stuck what shall I try next, I know it's gotta be some Lil thing I'm not doing or haven't tryed and I got an email from the mother board company if I decide its the slot not working I can ship the board back to them, but thats worse case scenario, I don't think its the board, or least I hope that aint the problem.

Got any suggestion?

Evil Re: PCI X Video Problem

The Motherboard company wants me to send it back to them saying maybe the slots bad.
dude its gotta be a setting or something I hate to have to gut the PC and send it back and wait two weeks...... I hope someone can help me out, If I do all of that and its not the slot I'm frustrated

Re: PCI X Video Problem

With ECS it's probably the slot, the only other thing I would try is a better power supply the Chiefmax is a real dog.
