I suspect this is a video card issue....

Hi, when i start my computer the monitor immediately goes into standby mode, no bios screen. the xp splash screen appears, and everything works normally.

graphics card: 3dfx voodoo3 (replacing a fried geforce 7900gs)
pc: dell dimension E510
monitor: dell 2007fwp

any assistance is greatly appreciated

I updated to the latest voodoo3 drivers, the problem persists.

So you dont see the post, just right into the xp splash?

Has this issue been consistent with the voodoo3 card only? or did it happen with the 7900 too before it fried?
