My graphics card quit working. It says CODE 10 under the problem. How can I fix code 10? I updated my drivers, I rolled them back. How can I fix this?

Re: Code 10
Code 10 is the error that wndows reports when the driver does not report suffcient information on the error . . so it can mean almost anything from "needs updated driver" to hardware failure.
What hardware or software did you install or uninstall just prior to the card failing? What Brand/Model card is it? What is the Brand/Model of the pc?

Re: Code 10
I had updated the drivers, then It gave me the Code 10. The graphics on my own desktop start glitching badly.Stuff cuts in my icons and stuff. I have a XP.
THe card is the Nvidia 8800gts. I Tried rolling back to my older drivers.I still get the CODE10. |

Re: Code 10
Microsoft XP, uh Media Edition I think. It has a seperate Harddrive containing all the Factor Condition stuff. When I recover its basically reinstalling everything (while wiping out everything else) and returning it to Factor Shipped Condition. It might of happened cause I reinstalled the new drivers (Which I suspect put me in this condition!) so I redled the previous drivers I had and going to install those if I wipe again. See if it fixes anything.

Re: Code 10
Ok, so you have a recovery partition (it's a separate "drive" but it's on the same hard drive disk), so go ahead and try that and tell us how it goes. Make sure to back up your important or paid-for data and programs!
