screen problem
I have an hp pavilion dv8000 and every once in a while after a restart my screen does somthing weird. It goes black with white around the edges faint white dots in the middle and white lines also. The white dots and edges look as if they fade into each other. I wish i could discribe it better. It realy looks like it could be a back ground of a website. I hear windows opening but only see this screen. If I do a hard start after seeing this screen it fixes it everytime. My fear is this is a temp. fix on a problem that will become more frequint. please let me know if you have any ideas on what this problem may be.
