ATI Driver installation packages.
Looking to reinstall my ATI drivers - Radeon 9600XT for XP Pro. This is the right page, but there's more options here than I unfortunately understand:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...4&lang=English The suite contains all 3 individual download options. But if I'm not interested in the suite, I don't know which of the individual parts I need to improve the drivers, and what's just "bonus" junk. The display driver seems like the critical one. But what is a WDM integrated driver? They make it sound important, anyways. Anyone know what this stuff is specifically for? It'd be a big help if you could enlighten me. Thanks, muchachos. |

Don't know how reliable that guy is, but I'm only using the standard display drivers (I have CCC, but I don't let it run at startup, I only open it when I need it) and my card works fine. Then again, 9000 series vs 4000 series, I dunno. But I'm pretty sure you only need the display drivers.
