no video input
I am trying to fix a friends computer. The problem is that the moniter is not responding to the computer and saying no signal input. They told me that they tried upgrading their memory frtom a 1 256 MB stick to two 512 MB sticks. I was thinking that the built in moniter input is bad. I would try adding a video card but there is no slot for it. There is only PCI slots. If anyone can help me that will be great

Re: no video input
Did the system ever work after adding the new RAM.
Did you test it with the original RAM. Disconnect all drives and see you can get video to monitor.
