No input signal to monitor
Hi, I've just finished upgrading some parts of my computer as my old one was prone to overheating and crashing. So i've got myself a new Antec 300 three hundred Ultimate Gaming Case and Antec Basiq Plus 500 watt PSU. I careful removed all the components from my old case, and stored them in anti-static bags while I continued working making sure to removed any static charge from my body by touching metalic objects often. Once I'd finished connecting everything up and tried to boot it up the PC started but the monitor just showed the message no input signal. The strange thing was there was no beep codes to show that any components were broke or not connected properly. So I removed my graphics card and tried to boot using the motherboard connection but still the same problem. I've back tracked all the steps I took, making sure all the connections were in correctly but I can't find any problem, and have no idea what to do next since I can even see my POST or get a beep code to begin with. I've tested the monitor and it doesn't appear to be broke.
So my question is if anyone has any idea what could be wrong. I have considered that maybe i've short circuited the motherboard and thats why its not giving me any codes or even loading, but unless I've missed anything thats the only thing I can think of being the cause. I appreciate any help or insight anyone can give me. |
