Help with running both monitor and overhead
I could REALLY use someone's help with this. I have a circa 2002 Dell running updated Windows XP/3. It was REALLY high end in 2002. I am trying to use it in the configuration I have attached here (the lines represent VGA cables). In a nutshell, I am trying to be able to project EITHER the Dell OR a laptop to the projector (the amp is a must - it's about a 75' run).
Anyway - the laptop works perfectly. However, every time I try to boot up the Dell, I get the "blue screen of death" critical hardware error. Running straight to the monitor, all is well. Run it to both..and...blue screen city. HELP??? PLEASE??? |
