TV Tuner/Streaming Video??
Hey guys, quick question here... I'm a huge Yankees fan and I've always been able to watch all their games on television because they have their own television network (called YES) which is included with my cable at home in New York. HOWEVER, I am currently a student at the University of Connecticut, where instead of offering the YES Network, their cable package includes NESN which shows only Red Sox games. This is hell for a Yankees fan. Anyways, my friend came up with an idea that it may be possible to buy a TV Tuner for my computer at home and then stream the video from the YES Network to my computer here at school during the Yankees games. Is this possible, and what would I need to do this? Would it be difficult to set up? Thanks for the help guys!
P.S. - Please don't refuse to give advice simply because of my devotion to the Yankees... I know there are a lot of Yankee Haters out there haha |

I'm huge Yankee fan as well. I moved from Brooklyn to San Diego 7 years ago and for 6 years I got to see about 5 games per season. Last season I subscribed to the MLB package through the local cable company and got to see about 140 games. It costs about 135.00 per season (less than a buck a game) and its well worth it. I won't be subscribing this season because of what they did to me in the playoffs. It took me months to recover from that 4 game sweep with them having a 3-0 lead. They don't get my money again until they show they deserve it.
