My screen won't show up?
Well I got up this morning and my screen wouldn't show up. I think that my video card might be fried. Another thing that when I started my computer it beep 3-4 times. Kinda hard to tell.

Re: My screen won't show up?
Hi, you need to post more details. What is make and model is this machine? motherboard installed? graphics card installed and also Power Supply. You can get these information by using software such as pc wizard or looking at you pc manual.
It depends on your BIOS, listen to the beep carefully and you can match them to here. http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm Also do you get a black screen as soon as BIOS is loaded i.e. pc is turned on? You could take the graphics card off and then switch on pc, or replace the RAM slot. Having matched the beep code, if this is a AMI bios then it would mean it is RAM. You will need to disconnect all cable from computer such as USB and power, then ground your self by touching the metal case, take the RAM out by pushing the clips down so the RAM is lifted and place onto another slot. You have two RAMs installed only have one running.
