Monitor having trouble displaying
Hey guys recently my monitor has been acting strangely. For example i run my desktop resolution at 1280X1024. However, when i try to play counter strike (640x480 res) or Warcraft 3 (1280x1024) the monitor just turns black, and my power button on the monitor blinks green and black, green and black. I hear sound effects but there is no display. But it's weird because when i play a game like TF2 (640x480 res) or Prototype (1280x1024) the monitor works perfectly fine. Also, I tried lowering my desktop resolution to 800x600 and it did the same problem (monitor is black and the power button blinks).
I tried switching cables and that failed. Also, my secondary monitor works fine for all games. Please help. The monitor i'm having a problem on is a 19in Viewsonic LCD. |
