XFX-GTS250, Informations & problems
Hi friends, please help me I want some inf. about my GPU i.e. XFX GTS 250(1GB).
1. Is this card support 1920 x 1080 (54cm wide monitor) resolution, even on gaming?? And can it run smoothly with stock heatsink or need any aftermarket cooling system to run smoothly on gaming? 2. I've single piece of GPU, and I run it without SLI mode with my wide LCD monitor (1920 x 1080). Can I play High Graphics games (Crysis, Call of Duty 4 etc.) with this system or need another piece of the same card and run it with SLI mode? 3. And please suggest me another GPU (Single piece) which I can run with my existing system (1920x1080) even on gaming. Last edited by nehachandra; 07-09-2009 at 02:04 PM. |

Re: XFX-GTS250, Informations & problems
Technically the card can support 1920x1080 even while gaming , but it may be better off on lower resolutions. Certian games will work fine but gpu intensive games will lagg at 1920x1080 with that card.
Also , don't bother with Sli. Sli does not increase the gpu power by very much to justify the cost and power consumption. Your better off with simply a faster single card. In order for us to recommend gpu's you need to post the systems specs includeing the power supply make and model and motherboard.
