[SOLVED] New Graphics Card Fresh Reinstall Of Drivers Due To Infinite Loop
H,i got a new video card the other day (ATI HD2400),and all was working well with it for a day.
The next day,i decided to give overclocking a try. I ran Rivatuner, but then i thought not to overclock it as i thought that it would damage my hardware. Anyway, now whenever i attempt to go on a graphical game such as WoW,It displays the infamous "infinite loop".Im not actually sure if me downloading rivatuner was the root or the problem,as i didnt try to go on it that day before downloading any overclocking program. Anyway.I have been searching for solutions for quite some time, and have been trying to perform said solution (new driver, taking out the card and putting it back in,PCI bridge PCI to PCI,nearly every "solution"), but it still freezes after a few muinites of play time and reboots. Well, the only actual thing i have not tried to perform is reinstalling all of the drivers in VGA safe mode.this seems quite complicated to do on a vista system,as all the instructions i have came across are for Windows XP,and that i cannot run the catalyst driver installer to install the drivers. could anyone here, give me the exact, in detail instructions in reinstalling the drivers in safe mode? Thanks a lot, this could be the awnser to my problems. |

Re: New Graphics Card Fresh Reinstall Of Drivers Due To Infinite Loop
glad you have it sorted
older drivers quite often work better than the newer ones on older cards
