Resolution trouble with Intel On-Board Graphics

I am having trouble with the video card (Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family) on my Dell Dimension E310 running XP. It refuses to display my monitor's (Dell 20" S2009W) native resolution (1600x900) even after I updated all of the drivers. The weird thing is that it shows the correct resolution in Ubuntu, so I know the card can support it.

Can anyone help me with getting my card to show the correct resolution in XP?

Re: Resolution trouble with Intel On-Board Graphics

The resolutions available are determined by the driver, so it could be that the latest XP driver for your onboard graphics doesn't support 1600x900, even though the Linux driver does.

Is there an option in the graphics control panel to display a list of unsupported resolutions?
