What would you recommend?

What card you recommend for PC gaming at a resolution of 1920 by 1200? One that can run most games at max (or close) settings (not with alot of AA necessarily) at those resolutions. My motherboard cant have two graphics card, so it has to be one.

If it helps.. I have 4 gigs of ram and a AMD 2.6 Quad Core Processor @ 3.0.

Re: What would you recommend?

Knowing what the PSU can output would help...

On my PC I game at 1680x1050 with everything cranked (except AA, doesn't matter much at the rez i play at). The PC my wife is using is sometimes used on my TV so it's doing 1920x1080 with a Radeon 4870 and an AMD Phenom X4 9850. Also has a 750w PSU.

Re: What would you recommend?

Get that PSU and then get a Radeon 4870 or 4890.

Re: What would you recommend?

A friend of mine recommended me this card.

How does it compare to a 4890? I found this 4890 on newegg, is that about right? Or is there a better one.

Re: What would you recommend?

Not a big fan of eVGA anymore. That 4890 you found will do well for you.
