No display on monitor
hi when i start up my computer (XP) i hear to start up but the monitor does not show any thing. then sometimes if i shake the cord and restart the computer after a number of times it comes on. i will then check the video and it will say it is working properly.
i also tried the card in a different computer and there was no problem at all. |

Re: No display on monitor
hello and welcome to TSF
the problem is from your monitor, the cable could be defected or maybe some pins in the cable that is connected to your video card could be broken try to use another monitor to see if that will fix it and to be sure that the problem is not from the video card

Re: No display on monitor
It might need a service yes, but some things you can do on your own...
When you have opened the case, was it dusted from inside??? |
