Stuttering issues
Hi all,
I have a problem with my PC. I'm getting stuttering on games. I think this could be something to do with my card, but I have been unable to solve it on my own. Strangely, it's not all games that are causing problems. Sims 3, Fallout 3, Half-Life 2 and it's many spin offs all work fine. However, World In Conflict, Red Alert 3, Gears of War and even some flash games online have caused my PC to stutter. Here's my stats: Pentium D 2.66 Windows Vista Business Ed. 580W PSU ATI Raedon 3650 HD 512MB AGP 2 Gig DDR2 RAM On a side note, I have an additional stick of 1 Gig DDR2 RAM that isn't being recognised but is correctly installed. Any help on either issue would be brilliant. |

Re: Stuttering issues
Hello and Welcome to TSF,
Turn off pc and remove the additional stick of ram that is not being recognised. Go here for the graphics driver: (vista 32bit) http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_ca...common-vista32 1. uninstall old video driver through add/remove in control panel 2. reboot pc 3. upon bootup if a new found hardware wizard appears, cancel it out. 4. install the graphics driver and reboot pc. How does the pc run now?
