Bottleneck Question.
I have a quick question. I am thinking about upgrading my 2x 8800gt SLI rig, thinking about getting a GTX 275 because I have heard with a simple overclock can come close or match a GTX 285. Now, I was just wondering if my processor would bottleneck that video card's performance. I have an AMD 64 X2 6400+ @ Stock 3.2GHz.
Thanks.

Re: Bottleneck Question.
I would say that you would be fine.
At 3.2G processor you should be able to feed it just fine. If in the future you do find that you need a bit more you should be able to OC that processor to 3.5G with minor changes to the FSB with the stock cooler. |
