FX 5200 Help

I have a FX 5200 128 card. problem is that when i goto play a game, sometimes when im playing my mouse pointer pops up into the screen and i cant get rid of it without restarting the game, it doesnt happen immediatley, it varies in time, but usually within 5 or so minutes of playing, this has happened with Joint Ops, BHD and DF 2, i cant seem to find the problem. i have no acceleration on the mouse, its a logitech optical mouse, and i have redownloaded and installed the drivers for it. my only thought is that this is somehow connected to the vid card. Im running 2000 pro, athlon 2800xp, 512 MB ram, sblive. any help would be really appreciated..Thanks

Nobody?

I wanted to add that, when im in fullscreen mode and then minimize a game, my mouse pointer wont show up on the screen, its like the game even though its minimized, is stuck somehow in full screen..

This is crazy, can i get any idea's at all? maybe just some things that could cause this? anything, please..thanks
