will mron 400w smps give enough power to msi9800gt
i recently purchased msi9800gt graphic card which require 400w system power supply and a 6pin pcie power connector
Source in specification section of this page (http://www.nvidia.com/object/product...9800gt_us.html) my system has Mron commet cabinet with 400w smps D945GCNL Intel Motherboard Intel Core2Duo 2.2 Processor 2 GB DDR2 Ram 160 GB Hitachi sata HDD DVD RW i want to know will this smps give enough power to 9800gt graphic card to run perfectly bcz i know some smps give less power then written on it thanks in advance |

No it won't run it. The card actually requires a quality 600w or higher with 26amps on the 12v rail and an 80+ certification. The advertisements on the box say 400w to appeal to a larger market so more people will buy the card. As you can see it worked.

you will more than likely stuff the ram up on the card
whatever they recommend for the card add 50% and you will be in the ballpark you need to be here or better as stated above http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...corsair%2b650w
