[SOLVED] New video card shows artifacts
Hi,
I just installed my new xfx 4850 and after turning it on it shows artifacts. Is there a problem with the new video card?? |

can you get into safe mode to turn the auto reboot off
turn off the auto reboot control panel /system/advanced/startup and recovery settings then untick the auto reboot box post any bsod error messages the computer freezes on in full what video were you using before

You can try your new graphic card on some other PC just to check if everything is ok with graphic card...

Im using the old graphic card now and everything is fine ... do i still need to try it on other PC?? The other computer in my house only have 350w and i dont want to risk it.

what are you running
video card cpu m/board ram power supply brand wattage check the listings in the bios for voltages and temperatures and post them

the psu should run it provided it is not o/clocked
i would be running a 650w with it Video card quick list
