Is the 8600 GTS good enough?

Is the EVGA 8600 GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card a good reliable card and wil it work with the the sims 3?

Good Looking out for the the info

This is a prety good card and should run any game fairly well including call of duty: world at war, crysis etc.
I have checked system requirements for sims3 and an 8600 should cope with it easily.

That is a decent card, but if you could move up just slightly to an 8800gt or gts, you would be more pleased IMHO. Don't misunderstand, there is nothing wrong with the card you suggested, but for a bit more money, you can move up quite a bit as we look at the performance/cost ratio. That is my opinion.
