Re: Install MSI N9800GT T2D512

Are you hooking the 6 pin auxiliary power to the card?
I also suspect your PSU may be a little weak for the card.

Re: Install MSI N9800GT T2D512

Do you have a link to where you bought the power supply? The only Jaguar PSU I'm finding is an ePower Jaguar 450w unit.

I assume you do not have another PCIe card to test the slot with?
It should be a simple plug and play to get an image at the boot level, Does your monitor use VGA or DVI connectors?

Re: Install MSI N9800GT T2D512

When using the onboard lets see what the voltage readings are in the Bios 12v, 5v, 3.3v there should be a pc health page in the bios which lists them.

Re: Install MSI N9800GT T2D512

3.3v ------>3.28
5v-------->5.02-5.05
12v------->12.02-11.96
that are the values in pc health

Re: Install MSI N9800GT T2D512

That looks good also remembering it's not under load, at this point I would try a different card or maybe exchange yours.

Re: Install MSI N9800GT T2D512

It should support the card some Sis chipsets had issues with the PCIe 2.0 spec but the Via chipset normally works.
Do you have another PC to test the card in, possibly a friends?
