nvidia GeForce GTX 275 superclocked edition Help! (eVGA)
Hi
Today I bought the nvidia GeForce GTX 275 superclocked edition (eVGA) and when I was just about finished installing it in my computer I realized that my power supply didn't have enough cables to connect to the Auxiliary cables (sorry if I don't know what all the cables are called. I'm new to this and I've never done it before. You will see what I mean in the pic below). http://s632.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=DSC00355.jpg Is there some sort of an adapter I could buy to make this work or do I have to get a whole new power supply? Thanks :) Comp Specs: Dell XPS 420 Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39GHz vista 32-bit 3 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD2600XT (hopefully soon to be the geforce GTX 275) |

You can't power a gtx 275 with just a stock dell power supply. The card requires a quality 600w or higher with 26 amps on the 12v rail and to be 80+ certified. Even with an adapter that dell power supply will just burn out in a day or two.

Ok
Would it be possible for you to link me a power supply from the site below that would work with this card? http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?minorcatid=1066 Thanks |

Re: nvidia GeForce GTX 275 superclocked edition Help! (eVGA)
Just noticed, when I clicked on the link for the 650TX, that the 750TX is actually cheaper right now. It's in the other recommended ones below the 650. I picked up the 850 for almost the same price recently, though it's a weekly special for 150 at ncix. I must of got it from newegg.ca I guess. Good memory eh.
