help with xfx gtx 260 black edition

ok so i bought a xfx gtx 260 core 216 black edition about few days ago now
and i play wow on it mostly and i know this card shud be able to play wow all settings max at a solid high fps but yet mine plays at medium at 30fps depending on where i am.
also i just this minute installed gta 4 and played it all high which i know it can handle it but i was getting 10 and less fps totaly unplayable and i turned everything down to low and i still only got 23fps.
i have orderd crysis its on its way and i really wanna be able to play this game but i know it ownt with this card but i know it shud do
please help iv tried reinstalling drivers updating them its soo anoying me wats wrong sum1 help me :(

Some of those boards use the second slot for a PCIe card and share the first slot with the onboard making it a x8 slot does you manual say to install the card in the first or second slot?

my board only had one pcie slot
could it be my cpu bottle neck?
on the window score thjing everything god 5.9 but my cpu got 5.2

What model board is this, I wonder if it only has a x8 wired slot instead of a x16?

That appears to be a full x16 slot so we can eliminate that idea.

The CPU while not the latest and greatest should run the card better then that.

What drivers are you running and have you tried any older or newer drivers?

i first tried the drivers that came with it
then i updated to the newest drivers which i am currently running and its the same

well i have made a post on their support page had replies like make sure update drivers and windows blah uno
maybe i will give them a call i wanna be crysis playing on high and i dnt wanna waste money on this graphics card thanks for the help mate :)

could it be that my graphics card aint gettin enough watts or amps or watever from the PSU and thats why its so slow and crap?

The voltage looks good, I would prefer a 750w supply for that card but your coolernaster doesn't appear to dropping off.

Try playing a game with speed fan running and see if the 12v drops below 11.75v or so.

ok thanks
i was just playing far cry 2 there multiplayer ultra high settings with no aa and i was getting 15-20fps when in the benchmark for the review they got from 50-70 fps depending on the screen res and my res is only 1440*900 which isnt massive its in middle so i shud be getting 50-60 fps :S wats wrong lol
